Equipment issues at the plant helped them succeed, leading to a $5 billion dollar decommissioning and replacement power from fossil fuel sources.
A heat wave and rolling brownouts/blackouts is what they deserve when the power runs low.
Ever notice, nobody ever says what the money will be used for?
"We'll, we're going to use it to fight climate change." What does that mean exactly? What specifically are they going to do with the money that will have any impact on the climate, if any? Nobody ever explains that part.
$469,272 a year will not be enough to do anything significant so the money will be thrown down a rathole. Raise taxes and then throw it away.

And just what county projects will be countering 'climate change?' When will those projects be deemed successful or a failure?
In short, this money will go to pet projects that fill the coffers of big campaign donors. The actual projects will be hidden in budgetary spread sheets and will be subject to zero oversight, just another scam by the Democrat/Socialist Overlords.
