Oh, and legalizing pot will not increase the chance that kids will gain access to it. /sarc.
It won't - since well before any state legalized pot, kids have been reporting that they can get pot almost as easily as beer or cigarettes, although the latter are far more used than pot among adults. The available evidence is that the least bad way to keep drugs away from kids is to legalize them for adults, so that sellers have an economic incentive to not sell to kids.
Next up, meth, crack, coke, heroin.
The voters of each state will decide, as they should; I know of no groundswell of support in any state for legalizing any of those drugs. Do you?
