My Dad was in Army CI in the mid fifties. He used to tell about how they would infiltrate these civil rights organizations because of their influence on some Army bases.

While he would not divulge stuff that was “classified” he would always say these people were not as “wonderful” as the media made them out to be. But, he said that about all politicians.

Exposure to the “real world” is sometimes the best education a man can get.
