Well, guess that decreases my respect for the guy significantly, then. Not entirely destroys it, though. At least he spoke out against Communism in that “Can a Christian be a Communist” essay, something no Communist adherent, no matter how stealthy, could ever do (Vladimir Putin, Jim Jones, and Pope Francis certainly didn’t).
Really wish they’d release the actual audio, though. I mean, if you’re going to claim you’ve got audio recordings of it, post them ASAP. That’s what I would have done.
The audio is under seal until 2027 to keep his legend in tact.

Go back and read the plagiarism analysis on MLK from 1994 and realize that he may have not composed that essay, much like the rest of the papers, books, sermons and speeches he claimed as his own.
