The Trump administration has formally proposed to revise Obama-era civil rights for transgender people in the nation’s health care system, eliminating “gender identity” as a factor in health care and leaning government policy toward recognizing only characteristics of sex at birth.
The Department of Health and Human Services published its proposed regulation Friday, which eliminates a 2016 regulation inserted by the Obama administration that redefined discrimination “on the basis of sex” to include gender identity.

Have to give the NYT credit this time for getting the story mostly right. Usually they try to hide the fact that Trump is simply undoing something that Obama put in place a few years prior and instead make it seem like he’s doing something evil that’s never been done before in the history of the country.
Yes. Diagnoses, treatments, and dosages are different for men and women. The doctor is NOT responsible for bad outcomes when the doctor is lied to.
The mentally ill do not need enablement they need treatment even institutionalization when they become a danger to themselves and others.
