Trans Activists Silence The Science So They Can Claim It’s On Their Side

It's telling that, in order to claim that science is on their side, trans activists need to bully actual scientists into silence about what the data and human experience actually suggests.

According to legend, Galileo defiantly muttered “and yet it moves” after the Inquisition forced him to abjure his Copernican views. Although unverified, this story became a popular anecdote in the history of science, giving voice to the passionate love for inquiry and truth, even in the face of dogmatic threats of violence.

If the transgender movement has its way, we shall soon see many more like Galileo, forced by today’s ideologues and inquisitions to deny the plain truth of science and reason. For example, Ray Blanchard, a leading researcher on human sexuality, was recently suspended from Twitter for the clinically correct statement that “Transsexualism and milder forms of gender dysphoria are types of mental disorder.” After an outcry, his account was restored, but the message had already been sent—thoughtcrime will be punished, even, perhaps especially, if it is true.

At one time the church did suppress science because it also had political power that it did not want to lose. It could not be viewed as having been wrong, therefore no scientist could utter the blaspheme that the earth goes around the sun. It was a blaspheme to the political church, not God.

Now we have a new secular church of the human, also with political power, that wants to suppress science in the same way. Humans are causing climate change and the science is settled--or else. Humans also have sexual fluidity like worms or frogs. To suggest anything else is blaspheme. Unborn babies are not humans until exposed to outside air. Any science that gets in the way with these sacred precepts must be silenced.

This is only the continuation of a long campaign of bullying: homosexuality was a prominent item in the list of psychiatric diseases in the American Psychiatric Journal up to the 1970s. Homosexual activists threatened and bribed their way out of that list, even though even the most casual of examinations shows intrinsic disorder.

Now they've succeeded in lawyering their way to "marriage", demanded their way in adopting children and getting homosexuality taught in many schools -

So why should it be surprising that the next front will be "proving" "transgenders" are normal - and then forcing the rest of us to believe it?

They tried to get pedophilia taken off the psychiatric list while Obama was president - we just missed that one.

Science is now at the service of the PC crowd. The USA’s formerly best science mag, Scientific American, is now a whimpering relic of a once-great magazine. It is PC on every page, dripping with references to climate change and diversity.

True scientists have been silenced. There will be no funding for research on anything that challenges the LGBT crowd, the climate change crowd, the muzzy bunch, and the income redistribution gang.

In 1973 I had been a subscriber to Scientific American for several years, it was that year that I noticed the political correctness starting to creep into the magazine.
In 1975 I canceled my subscription, because even by then the rag had become unreadable.

I was at the ER last night. I was sitting in a room with a divider. The Dr was at the next bed behind the divider. I was blown away when the Dr appeared around the divider, it was a women (I think), that sounded like a man. Then She/he spoke to me, confirmed mans voice. We are still not 100% sure but....
