Politics is about compromising on both side's terms, and the Democrats are pointing a cannon at Trump.

There could be zero investigations underway and the Democrats would still not interested in compromising with the Republicans and the Republicans would still not be interested in compromising with the Democrats. That's the way it was the two years the GOP had both houses. It's the way it is now.

Unfortunately, I agree with your sentiment with one slight correction:

The Democrats would still not interested in compromising with the Republicans Trump and the Republicans would still not be interested in compromising with the Democrats Trump.
