When you make political decisions based on the immediate, personal, concrete and temporary.... THAT’S what you get.
If the question had been phrased to mention “Muslims”, the percentages might have been different. Do the people know the difference between Islam and Muslims? Ask Americans if hey would accept Muslims or Islam, and they would be confused too. Ask Americans if the Koran is as legitimate a bible as the Christian bible, and they would be confused too.
And still the EU will force Muslims on them.

I pity Germany. I was stationed there in the good old Cold War days and was able to travel far and wide. I cannot imagine what it is like today. My former barracks in Mainz turned into “refugee” housing and the call to prayer can be heard in the once Catholic town.
