On the anniversary of the German constitution a German television station asked its audience the question, “Does Islam belong in Germany?”

The channel was stunned with the results. Over 95% of respondents answers, “No!”

Only 4% said Islam did belong in Germany.

If I’m not mistaken, Merkel was the “conservative” candidate. So I guess the other candidates would have been much worse.

I watched the youtube clip, and it's from MDR - a large and reputable t.v. broadcaster (had assumed that the poll had been conducted by some tiny, fly-by-night station).
