Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg called for everything honoring Thomas Jefferson to be renamed.
“Yeah, we’re doing that in Indiana. I think it’s the right thing to do,” Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Indiana, said in a Friday radio interview with conservative host Hugh Hewitt.
“There’s a lot, of course, to admire in his thinking and his philosophy,” Buttigieg said of the author of the Declaration of Independence and the nation’s third president.
“But then again, if you plunge into his writings, especially the ‘Notes on the State of Virginia,’ you know that he knew slavery was wrong. And yet he did it,” he explained.

I’ve posted for years that the demographic shift here is occurring faster than most people realize - and faster than the media would ever let you know. Thinking usually reading words on the printed or electronic page and “translating” those words into ideas in the brain. It takes work to do that, which is why a minority of people actually did that on a regular basis.
But in a video and Facebook culture, you never have to read a book. You simply listen to the stream of video propaganda and let that pass (without thinking) into your skull where it remains as indoctrination — because it was never really critically examined for its veracity.
If Stalin and Lenin had our current video media, the whole world would be communist right now. And if things are not corrected soon, then we only have another 20 years before the propaganda will permanently destroy civil society.
