seems the bangor daily is a liberal rag? Didn’t they used to be republican? Sad to see Maine going more and more liberal-

The editorial page of the Bangor Daily News is very left wing, so they just re-printed it.
I’ve heard people call The Bangor Daily News “Pravda on the Penobscot” (River).
President Trump carried Maine’s Second Congressional District, which is 27,000 square miles and covers 80% of the state. Candidate Trump carried this district by 10 points and received one electoral vote.
Maine’s First Congressional District....or “North Massachusetts” as we call it....covers 20% of the state in the southeast corner of Maine. It’s much more liberal than the more rural Second District.
The Hildebeast carried this district and received one electoral vote. Ms. Rotten carried the statewide vote by 2.9% and received two more electoral votes as a result. If candidate Donald Trump had run more ads he might have taken the whole state. Hillary ads were nonstop.
There was a blue wave in many areas of the country last November and that includes Maine. The antics of the RATS are starting to wake people up, fortunately. Maine had been trending more conservative in recent years but we had a setback in November 2018.
PS....Maine is strong Second Amendment country. Constitutional carry, Open carry, private sale of firearms, and all of those other good things.
