Once supposedly a sort of mushy “moderate” Republican, Joe has embraced the Dark Side with unbridled enthusiasm. Like a convert to Islam, he is the most passionate of of haters of whatever his earlier inclinations may have been. And now, he still thinks he has to prove himself to the new orthodoxy he as adopted.
