Basically leading with short dispatches saying the North Koreans did this at around 0906 am local Saturday (8:06 pm eastern USA) in Korea/Japan, about 90 minutes ago, into the Sea of Japan, traveling 70 to 200 kilometers from a launch site near Wonsan on DPRK east coast.

Despite what the liar there is saying which he’s never taken back is that I was helping two other primary campaigns before Trump and then actually helped organize for Trump in the general. And have posted extensively here on FR for 21 years, contributed too There are other issues of Pres. Trump that are very good and I support—I just don’t write a lot on them as Asia is my specialty. And, not to mention, I also thought his North Korean strategy ••••was GREAT until he did a complete 180 and started going in the direction of Condi Rice, Chris Hill, Albright, Richardson and others with the same mistakes as before in American dealing with NK. Now I’m gradually being proven correct on this one issue.
So you see, he is quite a liar and name caller who adds nothing substantive on these North Korea issue threads and indulges in misinformation about people and cannot seem to countenance any difference of opinion with what the President is doing on any and all issues. Is that an open mind? Conservatism? Objectivity? Sorry. I think for myself and I am not that robotic, never will be.
While your looking, look at the history of this individual. He’s been bad mouthing Trump from day one. It’s no secret. Educate yourself.

I certainly don’t always agree with you, DR, but, on this one I do.
AIT is over-reacting in manner, though not precise direction, just as lil’ Kim hopes the US & our allies do as a whole.
This (test) is just a “squawk” by Kim, who is getting desperate because of the poor harvest others here refer to. In reality, that gives us increased leverage over him, not less.
Trump should downplay this in exactly that context, explaining publicly why. Play the long game - we hold most of the cards.

Your post here, copying me, is a fine example on FR of disagreeing with somebody (in this case you toward me) but doing so in a reasoned and civil way and not indulging in name-calling (the "Never Trump!" canard) or creating ill will. Quite frankly there is no need for that nonsense, and not only that, it is contrary to the good spirit and rules of FREE REPUBLIC.
I have reflected on what has been said here today. I am human and you can see that I do not take kindly to a certain kind of approach, opposite yours, that another FReeper takes on this site and regarding anything I happen to say on the general topic of this thread--perhaps I myself should have dialed it back a bit and not taken the troll bait--I am better than that.
Now, I cc the FR Admin Moderator here as well (which is what Moderators do..."moderate") here for the following reason.
I have done a search of all of the articles this poster has placed on FR in the last full year. There are exactly 31 of them. From June 2017 to February of 2018. And in not a SINGLE ONE of them, not that I can tell in one single instance, did I show up and stalk, call names, disparage, talk negatively about him to other FReepers to discourage them from reading his posts, flood the person's articles with keywords, silliness like "fake news", "ait", "nevertrump". This is downright childish and unbecoming of Free Republic.
But this individual has been doing this incessantly and obsessively in so many articles that I post since Spring of last year, when the President changed his strategy on North Korea and I took a contrary position to some of the things he was doing. The individual will NOT drive me from FR. Since this is done by him or her towards me endlessly, and not by me towards this person on their threads they provide, ever, it can only be classified as harassment of another Freeper. And it is unnecessary and uncalled for. And the Freeper should know the rules, being a poster on this forum for I think since 1998, maybe a year longer than me. I think the only fair thing here is to ask for a cease and desist and let the chips fall where they may.
We can disagree here without being personal, or lacking respect for the viewpoints expressed by others.
Now I am happy to return to our favorite topic: North Korea and Fat Kim Jong Un. I will do the best to call them as I see them. It is also the last time I will ever reply directly to the FReeper in question if they continue in this manner, and likely this issue will resolve on its own.

People here on FR get very frustrated because Trump gets barraged from all sides, and undermined incessantly, and... he may be our only shot at keeping this country from going completely into the toilet.

I'm all for Japan building up their military. They obviously learned their lesson in WWII. I wouldn't be adverse to Japan having nukes to counter China and the Norks.

The reality is you were calling and implying Trump was an ignorant fool for even talking to Kim because you knew better because you are the Asian expert. You were against Trump talking to the North Koreans beginning. No? Is this not a fact? And you repeatedly suggested Trump was stupid for doing this because once again, you are the big Asian expert.
In fact it was Trump who told you in the beginning, "Talking to Kim might or might not work". Paraphrasing Trump he stated, "We'll see, and if it don't work, that's fine too".
For me, what I find very inquisitive, is that it was you, the lying media, CNN, neocons and the deceitful Democrats, et al, who did nothing but attempt to bad mouth, disparage and discredit Trump for even attempting to sit down and talk to the Koreans.
