EXCLUSIVE: 'This stings!' How Obama saw Trump's victory as a 'personal insult'
Daily Mail ^ | 5-02-2019 | Daniel Bates

The former president went from being confident that Hillary Clinton would beat Donald Trump to seeing it as a 'personal insult' that she lost.

Obama could not believe the American people had 'turned on him' for a man he had written off as a 'cartoon'.

As the dust settled Obama told his family that 'this hurts' and blamed Clinton who 'brought many of her troubles on herself' and ran a 'scripted, soulless campaign'.

The eye-popping details are in the new edition of 'Obama: The Call Of History' by New York Times chief White House correspondent Peter Baker.

Good. His presidency was moronic and an insult to real Americans.

He had the opportunity to heal the racial rift in a America and really bring us together - instead he purposely inflamed divisions for his own political ambitions and set back race relations decades.

Could have been worse, Obie. Had Romney really tried in 2012, he would have won and you would have been retired in Carter style.

Of course it was a personal insult.Voters in flyover country (God bless them) were sick and tired of Saul Alinsky’s most successful disciple and they understood that ILLary would be nothing more than his third term!

[Obama could not believe the American people had 'turned on him']

I'm not saying he is. I'm just saying he does a fine impression.

Let me know if he decides to move to Europe.

“blamed Clinton who ‘brought many of her troubles on herself’”

You’d think he would have blamed it on “collusion”, given that he unleashed the power of the surveillance state to prove it.

True. On race he turned out to be a more polished Sharpton.

Like they say, you can polish a Sharpton, but at the end of the day, its still a Sharpton.
