There's also that "Consent of the governed" thingee.

Hard to rule if you're doing it from downrange...

Maybe Wisconsin can invite Trump voters from IL to vote in WI. Rules? What rules?

Doesn't this just speak volumes about the left in this country. They have no interest in a free people electing who they wish. Its not even over political differences but that'd be bad too. If you don't have the correct: politics, pedigree, donor backing - you don't get to play. You don't get to be at the table when the money is dolled out.

The election of Donald Trump as president of the USA is probably the biggest event in American electoral history. A huge victory in the ageless war of the free common people against those who would rule us as tyrants.

When the fix was in for the establishment and now them not having sole control over the purse strings - they just haven't been able and don't have the capacity to accept free will of free people choosing goodness - choosing Americanism.

How amazing it is to be here at this time in history where it is crystal clear the division between the force of liberty versus some sort of flavor of marxism.

To those who would subjugate us - so threatening is this president, they now want eliminate our freedom of choice, our right to choose who will lead this country. Its so obvious who is good and who is bad.

Until any state actually prints the final ballots missing Trump, there is no standing in a legal suit. Before the ink is dry the AG will file a law suit directly to SCOTUS because of the time constraints.

My guess, only a guess, is that printing no Trump allowed ballots at the last minute to help Dems would mean no time to contest.

Or, once contesting then little robed judges in the HI,CA,OR etc. district will delay and then demand Trump be off the ballot. Then delay in allowing appeal to higher court.

As election day nears, SCOTUS will be on recess and tending to the bedside of the ailing Ginsberg. As a weeping nation waits for updates on her health.

If this is constitutional, then so is a state law that prohibits its electors from casting electoral votes for women or black people

Not the same thing.

All state laws which bind the freedom of Electors are unconstitutional. So, a law prohibiting Electors (once appointed) from voting for a woman or a black person would be unconstitutional.

But it would NOT be unconstitutional for Louisiana (say) to appoint David Duke as an elector, knowing that he would not vote for a black person.

Putinesque. Ban your opposition from the ballot.

Well said, good points all.

I don’t believe the libs and leftists will ever get over President Trump being elected when Hillary was sure to win the WH.

They’ll whine and moan about this for years.

But you have no constitutional right to vote at all, and if your state offers the opportunity to cast written votes, then you can vote for Donald Trump if you choose.

they have no authority to deny any candidate for Federal office that has met Federal criteria to be included

Included in what? There are no Presidential elections in the Constitution.

Are you suggesting that a state could pass a law prohibiting black people from appearing on the ballot?

I am suggesting that we are in a pre-conflict situation in which one side has rejected all customary uses and observances, and they will do as they damn please to achieve their goals unless they are stopped by force.

Is that good enough?

"Blue states move to keep Trump off 2020 ballot over tax returns"
FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

Patriots are reminded, because of the corrupt political parties, that the states are wrongly not complying the 12th Amendment's (12A) electoral vote process imo.

First, consider that 12A arguably gives ordinary voters the power to write in their own candidates instead of being forced to select from candidates provided by constitutionally undefined political parties.

Excerpted from the 12th Amendment: "The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; they shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice-President [emphasis added], and they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as President, and of all persons voted for as Vice- President, and of the number of votes for each, which lists they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate; […]"

The 12A vote-counting procedure also indicates that the states gave up their power to make winner-take-all laws for electoral votes, such laws actually nullifying the voting power of many voters, not that the political parties care.

Patriots need to support PDJT in leading the states to comply with 12A by taking unconstitutional winner-take-all laws out of their books and letting voters write in candidates of choice.

MAGA!

Included on the ballot. If a candidate running for ANY Federal office has met Constitutional/Federal criteria to be eligible to be on the ballot, no state can legally interfere with that candidate being on the ballot....period

We are in a civil war now. The real enemy is the communists Democratic Party and many of the Republicans. President Trump let the ball drop when 10 or 11 months ago he should have fired Sessions and Rosenstein. Then he should have releases all unredacted documents that Congress was asking for. If that would happened we probably would have kept the House.

“If they do this, all votes from their state for any candidate should not be counted. Do us a favor.”

That’s kinda how I see it. Just so long as the RAT candidate could not win an “uncontested” General Election and be awarded Electoral College votes. Just wonder how their citizens would feel about being completely disenfranchised by their own legislatures? If I see the scenario correctly, Trump would win in a landslide!
