Joe Biden officially earned the endorsement of the firefighters union Monday, putting in his corner a powerful organizing force that stayed on the sidelines of the 2016 race.
The executive board of the International Association of Firefighters met and voted to ratify its endorsement of the former vice president within hours of his formal entry into the race on Thursday. The union had warmly welcomed Biden to their annual Washington convention last month with signs of “Run, Joe, Run!”
General President Harold Schaitberger made the endorsement official in an online video.
“Joe’s a lot like our firefighters. He's a problem solver who cares deeply about America, and [is] committed to making our country better,” Schaitberger says.

I just watched this Shitburger guy on Fox & Friends , trying to speak for all firefighters , as he accoladed Biden . Yet when pressed about what the Union’s response would be if a Union member came out and refused to have his dues money used to support Biden , Shitburger completely obfuscated and failed to give a concise reply .
As a Teamster , I hate it that my Union feels like they can use my dues for political support without my consent .
We Union members need to burn these ‘leadership ‘ jokers a new one , with dissent . Flame their FB sites at the very least

I just saw this union idiot on F&F. Kilmeade asked him twice if he was going to continue to use the firefighters’ dues to the union to give donations to Democrats, even if they didn’t support Democrats. The weasel just gave oblique answers (dodged). ...Unions are bad for businesses and particularly for any municipal, State or Federal positions.
