About the spookiest theory I’ve seen is one coming from Thomas Wictor, relating to the last guy to do this, the one in Christchurch NZ.
Wictor thinks that the NZ guy killed his 41 victims for no reason at all. The victims were Muslim, but he didn’t really care about that. He could easily have killed anyone else.
Wictor argues that the NZ killer is a nihilist, and that he and his nihilist friends at 8chan think that killing is intended as irony. It’s an inside joke that they are sharing. They think they are demonstrating their superiority by mass murdering entirely without reason or emotion.
The NZ guy, and now the Poway shooter, post lengthy manifestos but they will be copycat fakes based on Norway’s Brevik, with inside jokes intended for their 8chan buddies. The difference between the 8chans and Brevik is that Brevik really meant it. The 8chans are mockers, satirists, and murder is their new art form.
I dunno if Wictor is right. But he might be, and if he is these nihilists will be something entirely new and dangerous in the world of mass murder.

At least armed security but that still doesn’t help the people on their way there. CA is a place I won’t live or sell firearms to because of their laws. I’m sorry for their issues but only they can sort them out.
That, and a Glock with one of those very large capacity magazines that are outlawed in California.
What irks me is that our liberal betters fail to recognize that 49 unarmed people were murdered in New Zealand and one person was murdered in Poway thanks to the presence of one armed person. This isn't rocket science.
I have another “irksome issue”. If you say the heck with this I’ll carry anyway. Then have to defend yourself and others the azzhole walks and you’re the one hammered. That’s the ultimate BS. This has to change.

Interesting that other than Fox News, there's been no mention in the mainstream print media about this aspect of the attack. Other than than many erroneous report that the killer was captured without incident. An unarmed veteran in the Synagogue physically confronted the shooter when his weapon jammed. Another, armed because he's a border control agent, returned fire as the shooter fled. No news there, at least no news which supports the guns for criminals only attitude on the press.
