On the other hand (in the time since I joined) this forum has had many Catholics falsely accuse those who insist that the Catholic Church fix its problem in this area only hold the church to that standard, even though the person whom they were addressing might have also been on a thread about pedophiles in the school system a few hours before.

Inventing a persecution for not being given an exemption quite correctly irritates a lot of people on this forum.

Yes, there are a few who only berate pedophile priests, but not that many.
