My own personal feeling here is that ANYONE who's called to testify before Congress or any Congressional committee would be well served to simply refuse to answer any question citing the Fifth Amendment.

This is another witch hunt. Any statement that isn't verbatim to a previous statement or any answer to any question that isn't verbatim would in this Congress' eyes be lying to Congress and subject to perjury / imprisonment.

That's exactly why I say any answer beyond "what is your name?" should be met with a citation of the Fifth Amendment and leave it at that. Say nothing else to protect one's self from being subject to a Perjury Trap.

Again, just my own personal belief / feeling here.

Well, I agree.

All I was saying was that McGahn has already made public statements about resigning over Trump asking him to fire Mueller.

This leads me to believe that he won't plead the 5th. He will tell the democRAT harpies what they want to know about his interaction with Trump.
