I shop elsewhere, but if I say where, I’ll be laughed at here.
Many years ago, Stop & Shop was family owned and basically invited a union in to be “fair” to their workers. Well, they started having labor issues and strikes and the family owners decided to sell off the company so they didn’t have to deal with a union anymore and all the headaches. Now it’s 2019 and 9% all their competition is non-union, while they are stick with union members loyal to the union and not the company.
IMHO, best case scenario, S&S settles and end up closing some stores and/or laying off employees.
