Perry’s not exactly the best choice...he’s open border all around the gulf and mexico where the industrial and corporate parks are on the border. HE’ll make certain to protect his investments there.

Perry was, is and will forevermore be a dolt and a Bush follower in all respects. At least Bush flew a pointy ended airplane. Perry got shuffled off to a c-130.
Rick Perry is an idiot. Infatuated with moslems and flooded Texas with them when he governor. A week or two ago he offered to give them nuclear power.
Definitely the wrong choice. The position requires someone willing to go into the communities harbouring illegal immigrants and make a show of enforcing the law. When Trump tells them it’s harsh he says too bad sir, it’s the law and then defends his actions and doubles down. If Trump isn’t in the concerned side of the approach in terms of optics then it’s getting close. BTW, this person needs to be willing to take all the heat off of Trump while don this.
How about Miller? Make him the immigration czar, answering to no one but Trump. Trump and Miller are about the only two in the administration that I really trust.
