Paul is great sometimes and an idiot others.

As for the notion of primarying him (in 2022! McConnel is up this year, not him), if there was some “better” conservative running who wasn’t a weak candidate I’d probably back them. But I don’t expect that, nor do I consider it very important to hope for, Paul is acceptable and very useful in some ways, but he needs a good smack sometimes.

As for this, he’s blocking a non-binding resolution that won’t effect whether the report will be released or not (it will be)? Big Whoop.

So the ACU is a worthless organization too! I am long past tired of groups who claim to be “conservative” who work tirelessly to elect the “$HIT” we have for GOP legislators today. They are a net negative to the collective good that Trump is doing for our country and it’s ordinary citizens. If the Pauls are what the ACU thinks are “good conservatives,” then count me out! They have had a century to try and do something good for our country, and THEY HAVE FAILED MISERABLY. They have no balls nor backbone, and are willing to take paychecks from “conservatives” like the Koch Brothers and others who use “Conservatism” as a convenient meme to accomplish their global financial goals even if it means f*cking their country’s ordinary citizens! So if you think the ACU is serves the interests of our country, I feel sorry for you.

That may rank as the most hysterical screed I’ve seen here in some time

Is that your defense of your conclusion that Bernie Sanders and Rand Paul are virtually the same politically ?

That’s just pure nonsense

And when challenged your reply is :

Denial of the source in this case the American Conservative Union

Sky is falling rhetoric

Personal invective

Does yelling at home win arguments too?

It doesn’t for me.

You win..lol

“Is that your defense of your conclusion that Bernie Sanders and Rand Paul are virtually the same politically ?”

No, it’s that they’re both obstructionist a$$holes. I am an “equal opportunity hater of politicians” who try to undermine what our President is trying to accomplish. Paul is a petty little Pr!ck who continually throws a wrench into the legislative “works” under the “guise” of being a “constitutionalist.” I consider the outcomes of what they do as legislators, and not the party they claim to represent. Rand Paul’s worthless father never passed a single bill he authored in some 25 years in the House, just like Sanders. They are both in their seats just to stir $hit aimlessly with no regard as to how their actions affect the functioning of government. But in the Senate, Paul has a lot of “company” on the RINO side. And it is indeed unfortunate for the country that they are there, more so because we are going to be stuck with them for the rest of Trump’s hopefully two-term presidency, because trying to unseat them is a fools mission at this point in time. It’s like most of them are $hit, but unfortunately, they are our $hit, and having them offer some help is better than a RAT alternative.
Now, it that any better? As for “yelling,” it’s about time somebody starts “yelling” here. The days of fat dumb and happy (but useless) Republicans is about over.

I like Senator Paul...there I said it haha

I don’t always agree with him and he has even peed me off a few times, but he has more integrity (on most things) than 99% of the Senate.

Folks we support don’t always do what we want them to do. We still support Trump and he implemented the bumpstock ban. I have to be honest and say that even though I am a staunch 2nd amendment supporter and firearm enthusiast, I personally never saw a practical need for a bumpstock except to get my rocks off and waste ammo. While I hate any new firearm regulation at all that particular one was no skin off my nose. There is not one practical thing a bumpstock can do for me that a semiauto cannot.

As for the wall, Rand always tries to be financially responsible and hates government spending of ANY kind. For him it was the money not the wall he didn’t like. He stands on eliminating all incentives that attract the illegal immigrants first and foremost. Cut the welfare, food stamps, free medical care Etc. As a cheaper option first.

But I think he is wrong about the wall, there is no way all the incentive cutting will ever get done so something drastic needs to be done. The dems will never let it happen. It needs to be closed and walled. But Rand has done the right thing much more often than not. Like Trump, his track record is great compared to the rest of congress.

Even Trump has done things we don’t like, but we still strongly support him right? We can’t throw the baby out with the bathwater. I am going to support anyone who does the right thing 9 times out of 10. That is a better record than anyone else up there.

This administration leaks like a sieve. If anyone thinks the Mueller report isn’t going to wind up in the media, unredacted, then they are kidding themselves.

Rand Paul is correct. We do not need a law to figure out this political question.

We need to release the full report, just because it is being used as fodder right now from the left, claiming there is something to hide in the report.
