Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed on Tuesday not a single Senate Democrat voted in favor of the Green New Deal because she asked them to vote “present.”
“Because I encouraged them to vote present, along w/ others,” Ocasio-Cortez responded when Republican Wyoming Sen. John Barrasso asked her why Democrats ducked going on the Senate record in support of her radical anti-climate change resolution.
The New York congresswoman’s response came only hours after the Senate voted 57-to-0 to kill the Green New Deal, which was introduced by Ocasio-Cortez and Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Ed Markey. Three Democrats voted against the resolution: Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin and Alabama Sen. Doug Jones. The remaining Democrats, including Markey, all voted present.
Ocasio-Cortez also attacked Republicans on Saturday for bringing her proposal to the Senate floor for a vote.

nah- Trump will say during the election “The green new Deal was so terrible, noone in their party dared even vote for it because even they realize it would completely bankrupt this country. I took office to fix the looming bankruptcy that obama foisted on America, and now the left want to go right back to bankrupting us? What is wrong with these people? Do they truly hate American and prosperity?
If you folks are sick and tired of winning, sick and tired of prosperity, sick and tired of keeping more of what you work so hard for, then vote democrat, vote for the green new deal- but if you like being prosperous, like having jobs to choose from, like having your border secure, like choosing your own doctors (Remember when obama lied to everyone and said we could keep our own doctors with his abomination called obamacare?) Sadly that was true- all obama had to do was offer ‘free stuff’ and people fell all over themselves trying to get to booths to vote for him
The ‘new progressives’ are offering the moon in regards to ‘free stuff’- we better hope there are enough people this time around that will see through their BS and vote republican- people unfortunately quickly forget how bad things were under obama, and might just vote socialist again - especially if it means ‘setting a precedent, like electing first gay president, or first woman president or some such nonsense- people unfortunately tend to vote on feelings rather than substance and truth-

That was demographics and a lot of cheating. Basically, he beat out the Electoral College by capturing “select” districts. We’ll never know how much cheating really occurred but I believe and always will, tht it is the ONLY way he could have won.
