Representatives for Joe Biden and Stacey Abrams say that rumors the former vice president planned to choose the onetime Georgia gubernatorial candidate as his 2020 running mate are "false" and that there was "no grand plan hatched."
Biden spokesman Bill Russo tweeted Friday that the ex-vice president "has an enormous amount of respect for" Abrams, noting Biden endorsed her in the gubernatorial race. "But," Russo tweeted, "these rumors about discussions on a pre-cooked ticket are false, plain and simple."
Abrams' spokeswoman Lauren Groh-Wargo responded by saying Abrams "enjoyed meeting" with Biden but "there was no grand plan hatched" and she was keeping her options for 2020 open.

Campaigning for Democrat primary with a black female running mate seems to help compete with Harris , Booker and other female candidates.
I guess it didn’t poll well. Biden WILL have a black running mate though, as an attempt to keep blacks interested in the election and stop them from leaving the party.

His respect for Abrams as a politician is about average, but she commands an abundance of additional respect just due to her physical enormity.
She's kind of like the Paul Bunyan of Democratic politics. Her legs are like full-grown oak trees.
Remember, how heard all the time about VP's are "a heartbeat away from POTUS"
Even totally deranged liberals cannot think Abrams is remotely qualified to step into the oval office.

She is more than adequately steeped in socialist ideology to believe she can handle the Oval Office if something happened to Biden.
She is another Ocasio-Cortez just waiting for her day in the sun.

Abrams said Biden would not agree to 10 fast food stops per day while campaigning.
Also, she is too obvious a pander for votes.
Remember, she would have to be perceived as a potential PRESIDENT, given Biden's age.

I heard recently that Biden will be the nominee after Beto knocks all others out of contention, then he will step aside for Biden. And guess who his running mate will be? Someone who wants the presidency more than he does...HRC. And yes, he will step down midway through his first term. That’s why she told an interviewer that yes, she still does want to be president, but no, she doesn’t want to campaign again.
You could take all the Dem candidates so far and not scrape together one good candidate that could beat Trump. They will all fizzle out early and there is no one on the bench - but Hillary. And we all know(hope) where she is headed.
I thought this could be a clever move by Biden’s handlers. Abrams might be repulsive enough that Joe would keep his hands to himself. She couldn’t really tempt him, could she?
