This trait may be attributable to his scottish mother. The national motto of Scotland is " Nemo me impune lacessit" , "No one strikes me with impunity". Ancient vendettas between clans were part of the cultural fabric. Educated people in Scotland still view the Campbells ( See Massacre of Glencoe) with suspicion. I admire this woman so much. She is a Saint for putting up with her husband who obviously doesn’t have any respect for her or their family. Her husband sounds like an obsessive control freak trying to bully, intimidate and embarrass her. Their children are young but wait until they get a little older and he does similar crap to them. Yes I agree. Just because the president is very publicly accused of being mentally unfit for office doesn’t mean that President Trump needs to fight back.
Not fighting back worked very well for GW bush it can work very well for President Trump in this situation too.
