The PA State Police are supposed to destroy the background check information for gun purchases. Instead they have been maintaining the data. If the word ever goes forth to create a Pennsylvania gun registry... you as a Pennsylvania resident gun owner may already be on it.
The PSP have been questioned about this and their response is that they have the right to keep the data.
