America's story is one of assimilation in endeavors where all people worked together to Make America Great. Immigrant affiliations were kept alive in families, churches, and social groups. When I was growing up in Danbury, CT, everyone got along fine and had shared values in public. (To the day she died, my Mom was "Magda" in her ethnic circles and "Mary" everywhere else.) Every so often, we'd go to a cultural event or there'd be a school day where various cultural groups shared their traditions.

As usual, the Illuminati Bush family gets it wrong.
