You think that if the House passed "border wall" legislation that Trump wanted, that the Senate would then block it? Interesting.
At the very least, Ryan should have gotten in done in the House then made the Senator's put their No vote on it, gotten it on record.

when trump was elected the next day, he should have asked McConnell and Ryan to move on wall funding. If the funding was not in ace by Jan 21, 2017, he should have declared the emergency then when the republicans controlled the house..

I saw what occurred today as proof enough that it would NOT have passed. I would never have believed it before, but had to see it today with my own eyes
