When the time is appropriate after the next election I hope Trump pardons Manafort.

30 months were concurrent with his sentence in Virginia. The rest will be served consecutively. This means it is only an effective addition of 43 months to his sentence

The way the article is written I believe it is. This is a far cry from what the media was predicting.

Six years and nine months could be a death sentence, depending on what type of confinement they give him. Solitary confinement would mean a death sentence for a man 69 years-old without any physical exercise.

Yes

Judge Amy Berman Jackson has handed down her sentence to former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort. She sentenced him to 73 months in prison, and 30 months of the sentence she imposed will overlap with his Virginia sentence of just under four years. With the 47-month sentence in the Virginia case, Manafort’s total sentence is 90 months, or 7.5 years.

MOSTLY.

CNBC “..30 of those months will be served concurrently with Manafort’s prior sentence in a separate case, also lodged by Mueller. “

But NOTHING related to the original mandate of counter espionage and “collusion.”

Its piling on.

As the previous judge stated,
“You don’t really care about Mr. Manafort’s bank fraud. You really care about what information he might give you about Mr. Trump and what might lead to his impeachment or prosecution. That’s what you’re really interested in.”

So what does this have to do with collusion?

With good time credit, and the time that he has already served, he would serve about 5.75 years.

Well, I know I feel safer knowing they have an old, white, sick, white-collar guy behind bars, and away from society. Won’t have to look over my shoulder on the dark streets at night.
