I went to CPAC a few years ago. When the lunch break took place everyone poured into the main hall where all the booths were set up. It was so packed with people that everyone's shoulders were touching everyone else's shoulders. We were trying to move step by step. I have never been in a people traffic jam before.

Then I heard, "Excuse me, excuse me." People parted. It was Phyllis Schlafly pushing a walker. The following year she passed away, but she showed up for every single CPAC while she was alive.
