Cindy McCain hit back at conservative blogger and commentator Michelle Malkin on Twitter after Malkin attacked her late husband, Sen. John McCain, Friday at the Conservative Political Action Conference.
“You never knew @SenJohnMcCain . You should be so lucky,” the late senator’s widow tweeted.
McCain, an Arizona Republican, supported increased border security but also advocated for compromise. He died in August, and attendees from both sides of the political spectrum gathered to pay their respects as he laid in state in both the Arizona Capitol and the U.S. Capitol Rotunda and for his funeral. The former prisoner of war and political maverick was widely regarded as a statesman.
During an anti-immigration speech at CPAC Friday, Malkin called out McCain while describing how she thought Republicans' leadership was not doing a sufficient job dealing with immigration.
“And yes, I’m looking at you, the ghost of John McCain,” Malkin said, receiving a standing ovation from the crowd. “It’s the GOP sellouts, not just the radical open-borders Left that is in bed with immigration saboteurs,” she added. “Those are the real grifters.”

Maybe Cindy McCain should talk to John’s first wife. She knew him. Perhaps that is why she became “unmarried” to him.
He became a bitter, egotistical bastard, thinking that he was owned an admiralship rank. He was not his father or grandfather and couldn’t accept his “limitations”.
That was a tragedy. He served honorably and bravely in Vietnam but his dreams of what “were owed” him were not realistic, but they consumed his life.
I heard him during his 2008 campaign and felt that he just didn’t have the fire needed to win. His biggest mistake was not to utilize Sarah Palin’s fire. He lost. End of story.

And....Ms. McCain...you might take note that your dead husband, while being canonized by the Obama Media had a funeral that literally very few Americans heeded or attended...certainly not even close to the public turnout of the POTUS, Ronald Reagan funeral, check the video tapes, and you see for yourself...you husband was hated by more people, then those that loved or admired him. I am certain he is having a ball in SATAN’s Hell for eternity.
John McCain was and remains an enemy of the conservative movement and patriotic Americans. He was a quissling at best. It’s disgusting that the republicans gave us this swine as a presidential candidate. I hope some representativei introduces a term limit bill in his name. He is the perfect example of why we need term limits.

I know it is improper etiquette to speak ill of the dead.
That being said, as a former constituent of U S Sen McCain, I can say I resented he ran on issues in his last election to get elected and then voted the opposite.
Malkin is absolutely right.
If Cindy McCain had not been a U S Senator’s wife at the time they discovered she was stealing prescribed pain medication for personal consumption, she’d have been in jail like the rest of us peasants.
It is time for her to quietly exit the stage.
These women do not realize that an illegal immigrant is already living in their wallets. Illegal immigration costs the American taxpayers plenty.

Agreed - I consider myself lucky that I never met the man. I wish I had never heard of him, or better yet that he never existed.
