I was just talking to someone about this issue yesterday. Many if not most kids are sensitive to peanut when they are young and may react. One of mine reacted when she was about one. The doctor said to wait a year and try again. We did and she was fine.
I work with a large youth organization. We had one peanut allergy kid. I asked his mom for some guidance then asked when he had his last reaction? It was eight years ago when he was two.
I asked if they ever did the peanut test at the hospital. Oh no, we would never consider that!!!!
In my opinion, anyone claiming peanut allergies and demanding special consideration must take that test and provide written doctor signed proof of the allergy
We do watch, and unlike (American) football, nobody (other than one Oakland A) takes a knee during the national anthem.
Folks allergic to peanuts had best stay away from Texas Roadhouse which has them all over the place including shells etc on the floor.
The first year of their existence they had to play all their home games on the road as Dunkin Donuts Field was not ready yet--despite a promise it would be. FBI investigated how much public money went into the project.
Have yet to see a game in that park though here's what it looked like a couple months before opening.
First they ruined football, now they have turned their sights on baseball.
I am sure she thinks that. But I am pretty sure even way back in prehistoric times such as the 70s, people were not too dimwitted to notice an alarming percentage of kids going into anaphylactic shock every time a another kid unwraps a peanut butter sandwhich in the lunch room at school.
I would be willing to bet anybody over 40 in this country can recall a single kid who had peanut allergies. Well, very few anyway
Youre the official scorer. How do you score that? Justifiable 4-base error?
Hartford Yard Goats vs Toledo Mud Hens. Now that’s one for the barnyard world series.
I’m a frequent visitor to Texas Roadhouse and often wonder why their practice of having peanuts and peanut shells everywhere don’t cause more controversy among the peanut-phobic crowd. Not that I want that to happen, I love Texas Roadhouse and have thrown many peanut shells to the floor in my time. I’m actually disappointed when there is no wait time for a table because I look forward to some time by the peanut barrel. They do have buckets of peanuts at the tables but not the same.
Its been a Cluster F _ _ _ from day one. I believe people are still being fined investigated ect on the entire debacle
Of course a liberal allergic to red wine would request that radio stations not play "Red Red Wine" by UB40?
seen the new ads for the drug to take if your a Risky Sexual Perv.
Its pretty pathetic,Lesbo’s Homo’s and Trannies all acting proud
Well, it would trigger them, wouldn’t it?
I assume you mean baseball?
I grew up in the 70s and NEVER heard of a peanut allergy. Seems I first started hearing about them in the early 90s.
Rocket City Trash Pandas, eh?
No more Huntsville Stars? They were a pleasant diversion
when the in-laws were living there.
What is the thing with horrible minor league baseball team names? Some of the Yard Goat’s competition in their league includes the Rumble Ponies, the Flying Squirrels and the Rubber Ducks.
Because parents don't let their children play in dirt anymore, and allow their immune systems to properly develop.
Hartford Yard Goats are a CT taxpayer funded operation. Just following all the Libs at the statehouse. Never will go to see them, especially with tolls on all CT roads!
