if this baby was that young post part-um depression would have set in that early.....

most likely an unplanned pregnancy by a scared young woman...

sadly all too common nowadays.....

It’s a moment that shook a newspaper carrier to his core...It was just after 4:30 a.m
He stated:

“I see a bright white thing laying on the road I’m like is this an animal,” said 21 yr old Aurelio Fuentes Jr.

He was two hours into his route, “I approached slowly next thing you know I see its red you can see the face I saw a face. It’s a baby.” ( hours-old newborn in nothing but onesie pajamas.)

“It could’ve been worse because out its pitch black its pitch black there could’ve been coyotes there’s cars going by fast down that road,”

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Newborn baby girl’s mother described by witnesses as hispanic or caucasian, possibly in her 20’s. Physical description unknown. Left the area in a small white SUV.

The mother faces charges including felony child endangerment and they may even consider attempted murder.

She possibly was in denial of the pregnancy.

Her umbilical cord was still attached... She was freezing, but thankfully alive!

prior to Fuentes arriving, a man walking was stopped by a Hispanic woman driving a small, white SUV, who reportedly asked him to take her baby. The man said he refused but suggested she drop the baby off at a fire station or a local children’s hospital. The man walked away afterward.

California has drop box’s so there’s no excuse for this.
The California Safe Surrendered Baby law states newborns can be handed over to “safe surrender sites” for up to 72 hours after birth. Safe surrender sites include hospitals and fire stations with the safety surrender logos on the front of the building. Parents have two weeks to change their mind and regain custody of the infant.

Thanks for the observation. Very possibly true. Or as others suggested a druggie who did not want to be identified as such. End result the same.

Neither that I know of.

The delivery man discovered the baby.

Seems like I heard that there might have been an earlier report, but nothing had connected to the site that I know of.

Did the mother call a 911 report? I’ve not heard that.

It is California, anything is possible there.
