President Trump slammed “vicious” congressional Democrats Saturday for their hostile questioning of acting Attorney General Matthew G. Whitaker in a contentious House Judiciary Committee oversight hearing.

“The Democrats in Congress yesterday were vicious and totally showed their cards for everyone to see,” Mr. Trump tweeted. “When the Republicans had the Majority they never acted with such hatred and scorn!...

Good for POTUS for speaking out, the Democrats on the committee were pathetic and turned the hearing into a juvenile gotcha attack.

Agreed...I believe the majority of people can put politics aside and show respect for those they don’t agree with, it’s simply common decency.

It seems many Democrats don’t give a hoot about decency now.

Mr Whitaker handled himself just fine.

“Mr chairman, I see that your 5 minutes is up”.

At first glance it would appear the Republicans’ treatment of the Democrats flows from common decency, but I believe most Republican politicians don’t care about advancing constitutional principles at all. They’re in it for the money.

"When the Republicans had the Majority they never acted with such hatred and scorn!..."

"I think he just identified the problem."

You are correct. Too many of the GOP are camp followers of the Rats and some of the rest are collaborators.

Maybe the President should take another look at William Barr— who has still NOT explained WHAT he was doing in a meeting with Bill Clinton (then Gov of Arkansas and noted coke freak), elements of the Contra operation- including an Air Force Spec Ops pilot Terry Reed (whose book has clearly laid all this out), and the Arkansas mafia Clinton used to distribute cocaine, money and “patronage” and, Arkancide. The cash was dropped by air onto Webb Hubbell’s father’s farm and then “placed” in a “dropbox” at.... Stephens Bank.
The same Stephens who was a Board Member of the Augusta National Golf Club and thus a steward of The Masters.

https://wikispooks.com/wiki/Terry_Reed

The problem with Barr— HE IS A BUSHIE, and he will cover for them and for the g-dmned CLINTONS— because both of these families and their minions made BILLIONS off of US Citizens, starting right from the beginning of GHW Bush’s one term presidency (which consisted largely of dismantling everything Ronald Reagan did, frankly). Laundered and wormed right into the Real Estate conversion from the tech boom and right back into the next bubble— tech again.

He should be disbarred, not made AG so he can plug the drain to the Swamp. Trump’s job is so monumental— to return our Republic to people, and not this corrupt cabal.

http://stateofthenation2012.com/?p=110556

It was Iran-Contra back then, and under obamaumao and his pals, the Clintons, Medvedev/Putin/Russia, and the other payoff list members of either party— IRAN Nuclear “deal” in conjunction with Uranium 1 (the way to have Iran pay for US nuclear fuel by paying the Russians) it has morphed back to Iran—We’re back to the Iranian mullah islamofascists... again.

Dope money is still running this “uniparty” and we now know that the surveillance state will benefit. Exactly what the Clintons, the Bushes, and the islamofascists want since they are serving the globalist agenda of people and politics who want nothing to do with our Republic or Constitution.

Not another misstep to the benefit of this swamp. Pray for the President to see this— this is not a “deal” which will ever correct the corruption, and have the People believe in our system of Justice. Lock HER Up! Prove it, show it and expose everyone. Everyone.

The danger, of course is palbable and real. Pray.

We’re like the British who were marching in formation while the revolutionaries were shooting them from the trees. But there’s something to be said for leaving our enemy alone while he is digging himself into a hole. They are just grandstanding since Barr’s confirmation in the Senate is next week, and Whitaker’s next job is TBD.

The repub uniparty members could not “scorn” their paymasters, and thus... go along get along.

Draining the Swamp is probably the most difficult, noble and patriotic task ever attempted. Much prayer is needed.

And imho— the Acting AG should remain as AG. Memory seems to be short amongst the Beltway bandits lining their pockets— only “closing the govt” and cutting the funds seems to stir any memory at all.

William Barr should NOT be the nominee. Trump seems to be pulling from the same law firm and their recommendations all the time. Are there outside the uniparty nominees with proper skills to police the swamp draining. Is this the best we can do— or is this yet another sop to the Bushies, who will do nothing about the Clintons. Both dynasties are the problem. See prior post this thread

It's always meant OK to me (and 95% of the population), but if it causes some snowflake meltdowns, so much the better   ;-))

Cannot understand why PDJT didn’t want to keep Whitaker as AG!

Why nominate a close buddy of Mule Face in Barr, who is such a GOPe operative???

“This hearing is pointless,” ranking Repub member Doug Collins said in his opening statement. “If this is the way we’re going to go, then we’ll have plenty of stunts, we’re going to have plenty of theatrics. Bring your popcorn.”
