FULL TITLE: Fox News Hosts Create CNN, Mueller Conspiracy Theory Surrounding Roger Stone Arrest, Demand Investigation
Fox News hosts past and present are touting a meta cable news conspiracy theory claiming special counsel Robert Mueller tipped off CNN prior to Roger Stone's Friday arrest.
Sean Hannity and Jeanine Pirro are touting a baseless accusation first concocted on Twitter by former Fox News host Greta Van Susteren that their rival cable news network CNN was "obviously tipped off" by Mueller's office in cahoots with the FBI. Van Susteren later apologized and recanted the claim, but right-wing news media immediately pounced on the chance to rip the alleged "fake news" collusion. President Donald Trump also jumped on the allegation despite CNN producer David Shortell saying they'd placed reporter crews in front of Stone's Fort Lauderdale, Florida, home after committing an act of journalism and following up on particularly busy grand jury activity.
Hannity lamented what he saw as a dramatic show of force by federal authorities at Stone's house Friday morning because the longtime Trump confidant is only accused of "process crimes," rather than violent crimes. But he was particularly angry that CNN journalists were on the scene to report the arrest.
"CNN cameras were at the raid of Roger Stone..so FBI obviously tipped off CNN...even if you dont like Stone, it is curious why Muellers office tipped off CNN instead of trying to quietly arrest Stone; quiet arrests are more likely to be safe to the FBI and the person arrested," former longtime Fox News host Van Susteren floated on Twitter Friday morning, soon after Stone's arrest on charges of obstruction, witness tampering and providing false statements.

Good grief. One hardly needs to be tipped off by Greta Van Susteran or anyone else to figure this one out.
From a Wash Times story on CovCath:
‘Whos asking the questions? Who is seeking the truth? Whos repeating propaganda for a hidden, anonymous political end?
The Covington kids story should be a tipping point.
Its time for the lesson to be learned across our political press before they render themselves completely irrelevant.”
This disease is contagious. Don’t let it become an epidemic.
For anyone still harboring doubts that FNC has gone to the dark side, the above should dispel same.
“Van Susteren later apologized and recanted the claim, but right-wing news media immediately pounced on the chance to rip the alleged “fake news” collusion.”
Did I miss the proof that this was just a coincidence that a DC reporter was standing outside Stone’s house at 5 am? And FURTHERMORE that F-troop had no problems with it?
The mere fact the the FBI blocked off the entire street, but allowed CNN to accompany them right up to the house says it all.
The political crime raid was deliberately staged and broadcast to support the Mueller Stasi police state. (No insult to Stasi)
Me or your lying eyes?
conspiracy theory?
How about news.
I think it’s Newsweek, not Fox news that wrote this article
Why did you list Fox news as the source and this guy is “reporter” for Newsweek?
EPU, your source link under the lead is WRONG .. says Fox, goes to Newzweak.
Good catch, Joshua, but I’ll stand by my #4 above regardless.
All of national broadcast enemedia are seditious whores.
The link goes to Newsweek, not Fox.
“The mere fact the the FBI blocked off the entire street, but allowed CNN to accompany them right up to the house says it all.”
I’m sure that was just coincidental. And why would the FIBs allow CNN up to the house of someone as dangerous as Roger Stone? /s

Baseless accusations???? Really? There are more facts to support the accusation that Mueller or someone on his team or in the know tipped off the DC CNN reporter than there is to support the truly baseless accusations of collusion between PT and the Russians. One of the biggest indicators was CNN’s explanation that he reporter was there because of his “gut” feel. What BS
“A baseless accusation”. This is, if you ignore the fact that CNN somehow knew about the raid before it happened.
This is Newsweak, not Fox News.
All of national broadcast enemedia are seditious whores.

No argument from me!
Well it’s actually a Newsweak article about Fox News hosts. So, your are not exactly correct, nor am I standing up for Fox News either.
FBI; CNN; all part of the same evil empire.
Please refer to #10 above.
Newsweak article, an old bastion of lies. One has to be either liar or mentally challenged to not ask questions of why CNN cameras were in place for a predawn raid.
