“was nothing short of a catastrophe for the native peoples.”
yeah. The same “noble” native people’s who practiced cannibalism, slavery and false god worship. F them. As an American Italian, I’m tired of this pc sh*t..
And what did these noble people do with all the wonderful natural resources? NOTHING!!! Went around dragging their animal skin homes behind them.
Someone once took DNA samples from various Indian tribes around America and it was discovered they all had genetic markers indicating their ancestors were from Uzbekistan, Kazakstan, and all those other “stans” that, prior to 1991, were called Soviet Central Asia.
Others had genetic markers linking their ancestors to the coast of China.
The Aleutian Islands in what is now Alaska was once a land bridge connecting Asia to the Americas, and that’s how these First Peoples came to this hemisphere.
Their ancestors were here long before the ancestors of European Americans, but they are neither native nor indigenous. First Peoples, yes.
This blind hatred of Western civilization has got to stop.
“So the president of a Catholic University views the spread of Catholicism as a catastrophe...Sounds like he wants to run for pope.”
I am so sick of this ridiculous PC stuff! Yuck. The universities and the leftist that run them have totally lost their minds and forsaken honest scholarly inquiry.
BTW, I’m Choctaw, and like Max American, far prefer the American Indian “label” than the “Native(or Indigenous) American” vagueness.
