After President Donald Trump announced his proposed immigration deal that would offer DACA protections to Democrats in exchange for wall funding, right-wing pundit Ann Coulter ripped the deal and said it would make a wall useless.
There are a million things to trade for a wall: A higher federal minimum wage, an infrastructure bill, a solar panel bill,” Coulter tweeted. “Trade a wall for AMNESTY, and there’s no purpose to having a wall.”
"We voted for Trump and got Jeb!” she wrote on Twitter.

DACA is a memo, no matter how much the Democrats, the Democrat Media and the Democrat courts pretend that it isn’t.

Her problem is she treats it all very simplistically. That’s why she is most influential when the GOP is the opposition party. Trump is playing ahead in this game and he is winning because piece by piece he is exposing the democrats for hypocrites.
Firstly on the border wall itself (Schumer, Obama, Biden, Hillary comments in the past)
Secondly on the shutdown (having a fun time on vacation while federal workers are waiting and the President in waiting)
Thirdly on DACA (Pelosi not taking on this negotiation shows their outrage was all political manufacturing)
With Trump doing this he’s playing the long game whereby he will reach the point where he has exhausted all negotiation leverage and the democrats still won’t budge. Then the only option for border security is to declare a national emergency. You don’t do that first because politics is poker. You have to play along for a bit. The difference is Trump unlike Bush will not cave.
Don’t bother. People would rather yell “cheeseburger” than stand for anything.
She never supported Jeb. She was Trump all the way.

No, this is not amnesty, this is an attempt to be a reasonable person who negotiates by offering a 3-year continuation of legality for DACA recipients vs a court decision that could get pulled out from under them at any time. Pelosi is going the intransigent route again in a way that is almost reminiscent of the Nancy Pelosi intransigence that cost her party the House of Representatives for a couple of cycles. She is the most reasonable of the Progressive bloc but that isn’t saying much. Ann needs to chill.
