It’s a big deal when the head of the legislative branch of our government does something like this to the head of the executive branch. Truly, a very big development. And yet ... This nonsense goes down in Washington and Wall Street pays ZERO notice. The DJIA is up > 100 points this morning on this news. It is remarkable how little difference Pelosi and Schumer actually make. Trump can keep on framing foreign policy, appointing judges to the bench, reforming the regulatory framework, and in general running the country. The House puts forward no work product, 20% of government closes, and to be blunt no one other than the employees without paychecks takes any notice! The left rounds up some refuse that has been building up at the National Parks that few people are visiting this time of year and that’s the evidence of a crisis that they drop on the White House lawn. Wow.

Yes, it is. And I am surprised (sort of) that few others here have noted this. Pelosi is moving into territory that we don’t want to go into. Governments have fallen on things starting like this...
