It never seems that Trump gets control of the DOJ and, at most, he has a few people near the top. If the information in this article is correct, the DOJ will continue to be a rogue agency and mucking up Trump’s plans as much as possible.

Reading comments here, it must be hard to find a man who has not sold his soul, his conscience and his word, living in the circle of the elite. How else does one become anyone in Washington DC and be an honest trustworthy guy??? Probably not possible.
And that is a very depressing conclusion. I raised my sons to be honest. How many are there out there whose word is their bond?

WTF was Trump thinking by nominating Barr?
Whatever the intent of the Lautenberg amendment, it has been forged into a blunt tool to strip 2nd amendment rights without any determination of guilt. Many people I’ve seen lose their 2A rights had no idea until they attempted to purchase a gun.
This makes Barr, well, not a guy I want in charge of DOJ.
Why does Schumer want Barr nomination pulled ??

It really is time President Trump began staffing the Executive Branch with people from OUTSIDE the usual governing classes, from outside the Washington to Boston/LA to Seattle locales, from outside the old school tie alumni of the “right” schools and the “right” resume’s. From people who are anxious to get their assigned job done and get back to their Real Life, and not those who are eager to get into a “Good Gov’ment Job” which will allow one to stay ‘in public service’ forever.
Do you think he is from far enough outside the System to recognize this? Do you think he has enough personal power to pull it off, if he does?
