Journalists have always been liars, even back during the days of Randolph Hearst. The biggest lie they ever told was convincing so much of the public that the days of yellow journalism were over and that the news became impartial and objective.

As I remember, the give-away was the then-nonexistent “superscript TH” attached to the unit numerical descriptor “187th?”
Those superscripts did not exist in Microsoft “Word” until the ‘80s or ‘90s? Correct?
