Quite obvious, he doesn’t live in the same county that he worked in, until he was fired.
Most places require you to be a resident, if you are police, fire or EMT - familiarity with streets and neighborhood. Not likely if you live in a different county.
That said, Pinellas County is as liberal as they come.
