The irony is that self defense requires stating you will fully acted to commit the homicide which if not disproved by the state is Murder 2 while an accidental shooting is Manslaughter, usually.

if someone puts a loaded gun to someones head and pulls the trigger..........how can that be anything but intentional? The sad thing is that there are people that will actually blame the game or the gun instead of the Yute. I’ve noticed over the years when some yout “accidentally” shoots his brother* it’s always a head shot. He was playing with the gun and oddly enough with a whole room full of directions that the bullet can go it unerringly find the head of the victim.
