Certainly Stockton qualifies under your derisive statement. As does my hometown of Modesto.
But to suggest all of CA is “the armpit of the world” is far from reality.
What ever happened to the environmental granola crunching outdoorsman creed of “Pack OUT what you Bring IN”?
True, however the bad towns draw down the good few. So all in all CA is still the Arm Pit of the world. It was one of the best in the world some years ago. look at San F , talk about bad towns.....
