I don't recall having a problem with milk growing up, but now, within the past 10 or so years, I very definitely have a problem. One glass of milk and my stomach is rumbling for a day or two.
This stuff below solves the problem.

My wife has a similar experience.

One guy kept telling me I couldn’t drink milk as an adult.
While I bought one or two gallons of whole milk a week or so.
Still love it.
I had a problem 30 years ago after an extended illness. I kept going after it. A difficult period of months but eventually all returned to normal. During that period, even vanilla ice cream was a problem.

I simply think it actually tastes *better* than traditional milk.
The fact it results in a longer fresh by date is also convenient.

You gotta get the best organic milk you can find.
Stays fresh much longer, less to no antibiotics in it, less bad bacteria in it.

As we get older, the body does change the amounts of enzymes and hormones we make. You probably don’t make as much lactase as you used to. Others see big changes in lipase (the fat enzyme) and the enzymes that break down starches and proteins. All these changes will make us modify our diets.
I won’t even get into the problems caused by the myriad hormone changes.

This stuff below solves the problem.
Yes, IF your problem is lactose. If your problem is milk protein, all products are out except butter (fat only, no protein).

The tablets containing lactase work fine for me so I can drink or eat regular dairy products.
