The collective “apology” from the Old White Men should be to vow to never spend a dime of their hard-earned money on professional sports. The idea that these “multi-millionaire” predominantly Black athletes, consider themselves “slaves,” is a travesty.
I guess I should consider myself lucky to have never gotten myself “involved” in watching “professional sports.”

Me too. ESPN has paid the NBA so much for broadcast rights that it may sink the network. They have no choice but to relentlessly hype the NBA. They are showing four games tomorrow? I can't watch for a quarter much less a game. A friend of mine is convinced the entire NBA enterprise is just a money laundering scheme.
But he doesn’t apologize for his white guy comments about the NFL owners.
