The Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety and the Pittsburgh police are investigating the distribution of anti-Semitic pamphlets in the citys neighborhoods, The Hill reported on Sunday.
The Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety and the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police are aware of and are investigating the dissemination of anti-Semitic pamphlets in Pittsburgh neighborhoods, including Squirrel Hill, the department said on Twitter.
Such hate-filled material will not be tolerated in Pittsburgh not by residents, city officials nor Law enforcement, the statement added. The Department of Public Safety assures the community that we are taking this matter very seriously and will follow every investigative avenue.
Pittsburgh is and will remain stronger than hate.
The department of public safety did not provide details about the contents of the pamphlets, or the specific locations in which they were found.

So what makes them hate?
Big deal. Some lonely Nazi, commie, black racist or uptight Democrat wanted some publicity.
Let’s see who it is before we get our pants all wet. I used to get some really good anti-Semitic stuff in the mail which I turned over to the Anti-Defamation League. Back then, they were more restrained, more studious, and more realistic about crap like this. They didn’t run out and hold a press conference every time a pamphlet was found or a Swastika was painted on a shual.
Most of the anti-Semitic stuff of late has been the work or a handful of losers who want the publicity and to cause the Jewish community concerns about anti-Semitism. The real threat comes from Islamic extremists and their white anti-Jewish allies. Not saying that the Nazis etc are not a threat to be ignored, but I’ve been to a KKK/Nazi rally and most of them couldn’t find their way home in a rainstorm.
It is the “individual” psycho, using anti-Semitism, anti-black, etc “isms” who are threats to all. And the problem is, the So. Poverty Law Center isn’t watching most of them.
What first amendment? Oh the one where the national socialaist claim they have the right to say whatever they want and the constitutionalist cant? That one?
Yet I cant fathom why a good majority of the Jewish vote for the democRATS. The love of money must be that strong.
What did the pamphlets actually say?
Were they really “anti-Semitic” (which is just another bogus PC sin designed to shut down discussion on certain issues), or were they something the Left just didn’t want people to see?
We used to find these at the church. I never thought it was a news story. Just some crackpot.
Do these neighborhoods have any interesting demographic characteristics? (Are they communities or Muslim enclaves?)
ML/NJ
One of them was Squirrel Hill, where the shooting happened at the Tree of Life Synagogue back on October 27.
