Top US naval commander in Middle East found dead

The top admiral overseeing US Naval forces in the Middle East, Vice Adm. Scott Stearney, was found dead in his residence in Bahrain on Saturday, the Navy said in a statement.
While his death is being investigated, officials say there is no evidence of foul play at this time.
"This is devastating news for the Stearney family, for the team at Fifth Fleet, and for the entire Navy," Adm. John Richardson, the chief of naval operations, told CNN Saturday. "Adm. Stearney was a decorated professional and a devoted father, a devoted husband and a good friend."

At 5th Fleet Headquarters? No. He has his flag ship but the HQ is on land, as are all fleet HQs.

People do have pre existing conditions sometimes.
My pop died on vacation in Canada. (I still blame Canada and have a lawsuit pending :) )
He was 60 and looked FINE to outward appearances, but he had 2 heart attacks, a stroke, a missing kidney, high blood pressure, survived a RUPTURED aneurysm and some other stuff.
:)
But he looked FINE.
He died in his sleep lucky son of a gun.
As for this gentleman, it may well have been murder.
i’m not even positive it wasn’t someone on our side anymore.
After seeing mueller in action, I feel like anything is possible.
