Erdogan says Turkey not bound by European court’s ruling to release Demirtas

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Tuesday said that Turkey is not bound by verdicts of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) following the court’s decision calling for the release of Kurdish leader Selahattin Demirtaş from a lengthy pre-trial detention.

“ECtHR decisions do not bind us. Up until now, most of the decisions about the organization [Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK)] have been negative. There is a lot to be done in reaction [to the verdict]. We will take steps in response and finish the case. Terrorism continues,” Erdoğan said in parliament after the ruling.

The ECtHR on Tuesday urged Turkey to swiftly process the legal case of the ex-leader of the pro-Kurdish opposition, saying his pretrial detention had gone on longer than could be justified and that Ankara “was to take all necessary measures to put an end to the applicant’s pre-trial detention.”

Demirtaş, who is the leading Kurdish politician in Turkey and was the co-chairman of the Peoples’ Democracy Party (HDP), has been behind bars on charges of terrorism related to the PKK since November 2016 along with several other Kurdish political figures in the country.

Former ECHR Judge: Turkey is obliged to comply with the ECHR

Demirtas is the Kurd candidate who was jailed on phony charges because he ran opposed to Erdogan. He literally was forced to campaign as the HDP candidate for president from prison.

There literally is no Adalet (Justice) in Turkey.

Turkey is not the only country in the Euroland having to deal with arbitrary rulings from all sorts of made up EU agencies (who elected those bureaucracies and made them boss?). "The event today may be the fact that the EU has now stated it will bring sanctions against Italy for refusing to comply with its demands. So here we have the Pi Target and to the day Brussels has officially rejected Italy’s spending budget on Wednesday, November 21st which opens the door to sanctions. With hindsight, we will perhaps look at this day as the start of a further deterioration of the European Union that has converted a trade union into a centralized dictatorship applying a central theme of austerity to everyone regardless of their economic conditions." Meanwhile, Turkey is demanding that the U.S. bring sanctions against Saudi with demands for a change in Saudi leadership in regards to Khashoggi. And the U.K. and other nations are supporting the demands (from the sound of propaganda from the BBC). And the latest is that Graham and other Republicans are chiming in with threats to bring sanctions against the Saudis.

The hypocrisies! What about human rights violations in China and other favorite trading partners for those congressmen’s VIP constituents! They’re really making a mess of foreign relations and might be starting a chain of events that may take us to World War 3.

Many good people have worked for at least a couple of decades with much success to improve relations with the Saudis and prevent another world war. Globalist interests don’t care what they do to the U.S.A. in their quest for money and control over the world.

Khashoggi, by the way, favored Iran for control of the Middle East and was promoting a “political” Islam that would theoretically, eventually overpower the West. Someone needs to educate some Republican politicians in Congress.

Yes, many of the “Globalist Interests” clearly want to destroy the US. So they can rule the World.

The men who have tried to do that before failed badly.

This attempt by man at ruling the world will also fail.

In the end, God will prevail.
