“Trump doesn’t need to set himself up to be impeached by ignoring the courts. “

That’s exactly right. Ignoring the ruling is a clumsy approach. The dems will likely try to impeach Trump so Trump must not provide any unnecessary ammo to make the RINOs bolt. There are smarter ways to deal with this.

First thing to examine would be the rules of engagement for WH press briefings.

What is the established published process to follow when a reporter violates a press conference rule? Does it even exist?

“Does it even exist?”

Yes, under Article II, Section 3 of the US Constitution which is enumerated, just like every other situation a reasonable judge should follow.

(Hint: The POUS is not required to give press briefings to ANYONE except information to Congress “from time-to-time”. Hence, where in the Constitution gives these media outlets “the right” to be invited to the White House or follow the President wherever he or she goes?)

I have an idea. There should be a clown mariachi band that surrounds Jim at all times on WH grounds. His mouth opens, they go full bore. Something along these lines: https://youtu.be/x3-aettVq54?t=210

Speak of the devil. The WH WILL be issuing rules for reporters. I guess it was never done before because it was believed that reporters would behave themselves.

President Donald Trump says the White House is “writing up rules and regulations” for reporters after a judge ordered the administration to restore credentials for CNN reporter Jim Acosta.

Trump told reporters Friday that “people have to behave.” He added that if journalists “don’t listen to the rules and regulations, we will end up back in court and we will win.”
