men must first be conditioned to believe without question that evolution is a scientific fact.

Horse puckey.

Evolution, and all science, is up for debate. Present your evidence and overthrow the existing theories.

As the essay deals mainly with neo-pagan naturalistic scientism and esoteric evolutionary conceptions passed off as the Western scientific tradition, one must assume that your demand has to do with naturalistic scientism. Since there are two basic kinds of naturalism--materialism and pantheism—please specify which of these two are the source of the theories you wish to see evidence for.

Here’s a bit of help: the two kinds differ chiefly about whether the First Cause or Absolute Substance is nonliving, non-intelligence bearing matter or an unknowing, unknowable, amoral mind. However, both kinds are united by their rejection of the transcendent, personal God and the supernatural realm and by their acceptance of some form of evolution, which serves as an impersonal, mechanical process of development.

Actually, horse pucky to your horse pucky.

The conditioning being spoken of is NOT the “science” but the propagation of ideas that are useful for ends entirely apart from the science.

This is about education, not of scientists but of the citizenry.

Or, as I long ago pondered, is it really the case that bad textbooks are cheaper than good that on this subject matter they invariably contain old ideas that were frequently considered quaint or outdated before those textbooks were written?

The need for the secularists isn’t for people to understand the science but to believe the proposition, and not so that they should become scientist but so they should become secularists.

Amazing that those that believe in evolution, believe in equal outcome. No wonder they go insane.
